If you are already a Migrant in Australia, and you are in a de facto (or spousal) relationship with an eligible Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident, you can apply for the Onshore Partner Visa 820/801 to remain with your loved-one.
Onshore 820/801
To clarify the difference between the two, a subclass 820 Visa is a temporary resident Visa, and a subclass 801 Visa is a permanent resident Visa. Either immigration Visa type, or both types, can be applied for (independently, or simultaneously) when you are already onshore within Australia.
